This could include any of those tasks that fall under housework eg vacuuming, cleaning, changing beds, food preparation and clearing up plus feeding of pets, basic gardening or tidying up. If there is anything you need help with that is not listed, please just ask.
Home and Garden Services
Your house may be empty because you are going away, so I could come and check your post, feed the rabbit or the cat, ensure there are no burst pipes or break ins, water the plants. You may have an empty property that you don’t live in which is usually let out to tenants or for holiday lets and you may need it checking from to time or help with cleaning it. You may be out at work and something is being delivered or you are expecting tradespeople to arrive to start some work and need someone to be there to ensure everything is as it should be.
Empty House Services
I can help you face up to a decluttering job. It might involve looking with you at what needs to be done, doing it with you or for you. You may need the bags or boxes of stuff taken to the charity shop, clothes agency or elsewhere or you might just need help making decisions on what to do with things. Sometimes, it just needs someone to come in and support you in the task. This might include your garage or shed, a bedroom that is currently a junk room, a wardrobe that is spilling over.
Decluttering Services
You plan to move house this year but are daunted by the tasks involved when you are already tired, stressed or busy. I can help with anything from helping you research a possible new house or area to live, decluttering pre packing up, reviewing furniture needs for the old and new house, sourcing furniture for the new house, helping you pack in the days or weeks leading up to the move, helping you unpack, making the tea, finding and preparing food, helping you settle in, etc
Moving House Services
You have a small extension due to happen soon and you realise that the workers arrive after you leave for work but you don’t feel comfortable leaving a key under the mat. I could be there to let them in each day, ensure they have what they need and pop back later if needed. Maybe you need someone to pop in once a day to check everything is happening as it should be or you have individual workers coming in and someone needs to liaise between them. I can help.
Small Project Services
You need regular help with childminding, housework, gardening, dog walking, babysitting but need assistance to find that help. You need a plumber, electrician or roofer. Let me help you find them.
Sourcing Staff or Tradespeople Services
You may keep thinking that you need some more ‘me’ time which could be booking that massage or reflexology session. You might be wanting to learn an instrument or to play golf or take up a new exercise class. Call me, let me know what you want to do and I will aim to source and possibly book you in for your new hobby or class.
Self and Well-being Services
I can help you support your older relatives when it is difficult for you to do so, due to work, busy life or geographical distance. It could be after their hospital discharge or during or after a period of illness. Do they need help with picking up prescriptions, paying bills, collecting library books, shopping, housework or taking the cat to the vet? If they need this type of support longer term, I will be able to help you find the right organisation to do this.
Extended Family Services
Maybe you are new to the area and would like someone to go with you to a few events to meet people but don’t want to go on your own? Maybe you are newly bereaved, separated or divorced and would like some support to get through those early days/weeks/months until life starts a new pattern. This could be practical or emotional in nature. Do you want someone to pop to your parent once a week to have a cup of tea with them and a chat and ensure they are ok, as they have recently lost their spouse? Maybe you have a new addition to the family and life has suddenly got chaotic and you just need some temporary support for a few days or weeks?
Life Changes Services
You want to have a party for a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion. You don’t need professional caterers but could do with an extra pair of hands to prepare and send out the invitations, to book a hall or restaurant, organise caterers or to help you at home to prepare for an event eg cleaning and tidying, decorating, preparing the food with you, setting and clearing tables, taking guests coats and ensuring they are welcomed on arrival, serving drinks, clearing up and cleaning surfaces and rooms after the event.

I have years of experience of administration. I am a fast touch typist and have a computer qualification (ECDL Extra Level 2). I can help you set up a filing system and file papers, sort post, pay bills, type reports, set up spreadsheets, get quotes, send or sort emails, proof reading and editing, word processing, scanning, mail merging etc. Recently, I have helped a lady go through and sort all her papers ready for a divorce Court Case, providing both practical and emotional support through this process.
Personal Admin Services
You don’t need a travel agent as you know there are some good deals online; you just need time to research those deals and book something. You know you want to book a cottage for half term but don’t have time to research and book the right one. You want to book a romantic weekend for yourself and partner but don’t know what or where. Ask me.
